Steinway Top Piano Teacher
What an amazing start to the year!
When I got back from Germany I had great news in my mailbox: The Steinway & Sons Top Teacher Award 2022.
What an honor!
The award ceremony at Steinway Gallery Cleveland was beautiful, and I am so thrilled to now call myself both a Steinway Artist and a Steinway Top Teacher.
Some of my engagements as a teacher include presenting new talent. Here we are at a recent Gala Event for Highschool Pianists in Youngstown, Ohio.
This month I returned to my concert previews for The Cleveland Orchestra with lots of exciting repertoire from Ravel’s Bolero to Beethoven’s 7th symphony.
This is Reinberger Hall at Severance Music Center as I am getting ready for the preview lecture and interview with composer Andrew Norman about his new work ‘Sustain’.
February is always quite an active time in the concert season.
My favorite recital this month turned out to be at a little boutique series in Massillon, Ohio. I had no idea what to expect when agreeing to come and play.
What a magnificent place to perform for such a welcoming crowd. I can’t wait to return.
Up next will be a quick trip to Germany and then a tour to California for some teaching and playing.
If you are in SoCal join me in Pasadena on March 29th for a solo recital featuring music from my new album WIND.
